Maidenhead Child Contact Centre

Maidenhead Child Contact Centre is a place where the children of separated families can enjoy contact with one or both parents and sometimes other family members in a relaxed and safe environment.

You and your partner have separated, and you no longer want to see each other. Maidenhead Child Contact Centre is a safe, neutral place where the children of broken partnerships can spend time with the parent with whom they do not live. Separate entrances mean that you do not have to meet your former partner, and staff can escort your child between partners - please let us know in advance if this is your wish.

Our role is simply to provide a safe and secure meeting place for the children - we do not make reports to the Family Court or to Social Services on how visits go.

The Co-ordinator manages the Centre, and is always in attendance, assisted by a staff of trained volunteers. There is a spacious play area with toys and games for all ages, and a separate room where the residential parent can wait. The Centre can also be used as a hand-over point, if agreed in writing beforehand.

There are two Contacts each month at Maidenhead Child Contact Centre, on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, from 2pm to 4pm. We make no charge for this service.

If you do not live near Maidenhead, there are many other Child Contact Centres around the country. However, unlike us, some of these may charge a small fee. This page will help you find one.
